Bio
Jennifer Kostuik grew up in the Southern United States and moved to Canada to attend and graduate with a Bachelor of Art History from Queens University in Kingston, ON. After working for several private art dealers in Toronto, ON to accustom herself with the Canadian art market (contemporary and secondary) and for a consulting firm involved with Strategic Development and Management outside of Canada, she relocated to Vancouver, BC and opened her art gallery in 1997. A few years later, she relocated to the city’s “gallery row” with a five-year lease signed and one artist on board. Researching painters, photographers and sculptors, often flying to meet them in person, the gallery re-opened three months later with a core group of artists, many of whom are still represented today in her current Yaletown location. Passionate in her belief that visual art is important to everyone, her goal is to provide collectors and first time buyers current options by the artists they love, while also showcasing new artists and fresh themes to discover.
